With all the free time I now have before working the “Wayne Brady” shows at night, I’ve actually been productive again! I’ll still play on “AnimaRO” occasionally when I wanna wack on some zombies, but now after hosting a Ragnarok Online game for a few months and seeing all there really is to see in the game, I guess I’m mostly done.
img src=”http://presence.irev.net/storage/linkstation-ls1-ppc.jpg” border=”1″ align=”right” vspace=”8″ hspace=”8″>First, I “hacked” my little “LinkStation” NAS toy, a 200mhz PowerPC 603 box with a 300gig hard drive and ethernet port, with a Linux 2.6 kernel and two external USB drives, for a total of 800 gigabytes of storage. Put Wndrbr3d’s music archive on there. Woo, yay lots of storage space and little electricity usage!
Today I also got an oil change for my truckie. The oil change guys gave me a list two pages long of all the things they don’t like about my truck. I offered to sell it to them for two grand, they passed it up. Then I got a hair cut. From a straight dude who had long black curly wavy sexy hair. I tipped him 7 bucks cause I accidentally for reals wanged him in the nutsack when he tried to hand me a mirror to look at the back of my hair. Seriously oops, but still, its a nice cut, and he respected my choice of hair conditioner, even if he disappoved of it.
Ants invaded our bathroom, first time I’ve ever had a bug problem in our home since we got pest control like 4 years ago. I spent some time destroying them, but had to go to the pet store and purchase replacement cat food. I dunno if ants in catfood makes catfood bad, but I vote “Gross”.
And the fishy gentlemen got themselves fresh filters today, so the better I can strain out their fishy poos. They appreciate it, they have informed me via memo.
In a dangerous move of “lets see what happens”, we’ve given both the dog and cat their free access via doggie-door to the backyard. The hope is that during the day, the cat will dislike the heat so bad he won’t go far. At night, we’ll lock them both inside. Here’s praying for the safety of the cat, while knowing the dog has her rightful access to her backyard to bark at the birds.
Gizmo brought over his old GameCube gear for the Wii, I intend to enjoy some “Metroid Prime” that Kelly hooked me up with this upcoming week. Wndr and his chickie are in town, one week after Gizmo visited Vegas for his special purposes. His special purposes to pursue repairs for his machine, Wndr’s and Jenn’s to swim in the Vegas heat. Perhaps food will be shared by us all.
Woo!
